Core / supporting skills
Element’s comprehensive fluid systems and equipment experience is complemented by a wide range of engineering disciplines that are used to support programmes in order to provide a complete project solution.
Programme management
Element uses recognized PMP certified personnel to employ the management structure needed to successfully complete any work package from bid and proposal to delivery of the final product. This structure encompasses all aspects of a project: scope, time, cost, quality, resourcing, communications (both external and internal), risk and procurement.
Technical writing
Element prides itself in its ability to write high quality technical documents that are delivered with minimal revisions and iterations required. This is due to the high level of technical expertise Element has to offer. Such technical documents include similarity reports, test procedures, test reports, stress analysis reports, reliability reports, specifications, etc.
Mechanical design
Element offers the technical skills to assess an existing design or take a fluid system or equipment package through the complete product development cycle.
3-D modeling and drafting
Using applications such as Pro-E, Solid Works, Catia and AutoCAD Element creates and modifies drawings and 3D models for all applications.
Safety and Reliability
Fault tree analysis from equipment, through sub-system and up to full system level. Supported with full FMEA (including PFMEA & DFMEA) and FMECA analysis.
Reliability assessments to determine mean time before failure and mean time before unscheduled removal values on both new products and legacy items. In service data analysis to assess achieved vs calculated values.
RBE management
Working to the recognized RBE (Requirements Based Engineering) methodology, Element manages and generates full traceability from requirement validation to verification. With the ability to work both inside and outside of the DOORS database.
